It is a great idea to keep a home library. This may be as small as a few books on a shelf, or as large as you wish. The books should be accessible to your preschooler. Don´t collect books that are "too good" for them to grab and leaf through as they feel like it. Go to a second-hand store or garage sales regularly and get a collection of quality stories that can be loved, used, read, enjoyed. Go through the books as you obtain new ones and pass on any out-grown titles to make room for your latest bargains.
